Step 2: rename the folder by holding the ALT key and simultaneously typing 0160 it will create an invisible folder name
caution: to type the numbers only number pad should be use , laptop users should activate the num lock to use the number pad
After performing this operation you will find a folder with no name
step 3: Right click the folder and select Properties > Coustomise and click on “Change Icon” Icon
Step 4: As you scroll trough the available icons you will find some empty spaces in between (as indicated by the blue box in the picture below) and click on it .
Step 5: Go to General Tab and enable hidden option by checking on check box beside hidden
Step 6 : when you enable show hidden files option you will find black space at the starting in the folder view
